Direct-to-video action comedy Brain Smasher: A Love Story (1993) regards the adventures of a club bouncer named Ed (Andrew Dice Clay). He knows kung fu & becomes involved with a model named Sam for Samantha (Teri Hatcher) who knows how to pose well but is in general just a cute ditz.

Ed & Sam are soon pursued by a group of Keystone Chinese Ninjas & Shaolin monks who want to get their hands on the Red Lotus of incredible powers.

Sweet & rediculous & funny, Chuck Norris never did anything this good because he always wanted to be cool though he never could be. The cast of Brain Smasher are willing to be absurd & so they are cool.

It's all lowbrow stuff obviously, but it's chuckle-filled & amusingly violent while managing even to be kinda romantic.
