Dark Heaven

DARK HEAVEN. 2002

Director: Douglas Schulze

I love horror films that treat of the theme of god vs devil, angels vs demons, & with such a theme I am easy to please. But this movie is of the cheating "it was all a dream" variety, & since it's all being dreamed, the director-scriptwrier didn't think it needed to make any more sense than a dream.

Jon Bennett plays a man overwhelmed by grief & pursued by dark angels in a post-apocalyptic world. Or something like that; it doesn't actually make that much sense.

The whole post-apocalypse world seems to consist of high school hallways & one almost suspects the film was a high school project. The designer of the angel armor did a cool job but there is not one other element to the film that is better than stupid.
