Deep Evil

DEEP EVIL. 2004

You gotta admire a film that posits aliens from outer space that look like regular water, so that all you gotta do is have a big enough budget to show slimy drip-drops & a wet floor, then have some hysterics in military gear screaming & shooting at the water. And when the water-aliens at long, long last take on the form of guys in rubber suits, how cool is that!

I sure hope there's a sequel to this made-for-tv Lorenzo Lamas vehicle. In the sequel the aliens should look look like clods of dirt instead of water, as clods of dirt explode into exciting dust clouds if you shoot them. Or, instead of military guys shooting at the dirt, how about if the dirtclods are battled by a bunch of paintball enthusiasts, it could be a really colorful sequel.
